Central Oregon Dressage Society

Welcome to the Central Oregon Dressage Society!
The purpose of the Central Oregon Chapter of the Oregon Dressage Society (COCODS)
is to promote the art of dressage through education, competition, and recognition. We are
open to all equine enthusiasts and sponsors whether or not you ride. We invite you to join us!

In 2012, we will have several dressage shows for members and nonmembers alike to participate in. We will have three League shows which are recognized recognized by the Oregon Dressage Society; our Recognized show, The Central Oregon Dressage Classic, is recognized by USEF, USDF and ODS. The plans for this show are shaping up to be better than ever thanks to the generosity and sponorship of Rim Rock Riders and Brasada Ranch.

We also have a Year End Awards program for our club and ODS sponsors both a League Championship as well as a Licensed Championship show at the end of the season. Be sure to check the Show Information Page for more information on all these events.

Throughout the year, many of our members sponsor various clinicians who come to the area. Check our Calendar for dates and contact information.

The ODS website also lists shows and events throughout the Oregon Washington, and Northern California area.

Youth Day, July 14, 2012

The first annual Youth Dressage Day is coming July 14, 2012 and will be held at SGF Sporthorses! This day filled with a mirade of fun activities and a BBQ! Mark your calendars!!! We have a solution for members that may feel riding 6 lessons in 4 days is a bit overwhelming or not in their budget !!!

Two COC members can take one spot in the camp-

each receiving 3 rides for $200 (You must sign up together)

This is a great way to experience new clinicians as well as meeting new fellow equestrians!

The camp is for ALL levels of riding and we always get interesting breeds of horses to learn more about!
