| Stunning Black 10yo Hanoverian/TB Gelding (by Weltmeyer) For Sale! Welkin by Weltmeyer (Han) out of Lucky B Me (TB) (DOB March 30,2001) $35000 obo. "Welkin" is a spectacular horse who will shine best in the dressage ring. He has 3 phenomenal gaits and has "wowed" the dressage judges in all of the Horse Trials that he has entered. I bought him from Idaho 3 years ago and, in essence, "started" him at that time. He tries incredibly hard and requires a quiet, confident rider who can continue his education and show him all that he is capable of doing! As an eventer, I'm not sure he has the confidence to do upper-level cross-country questions. He has competed at Beginner Novice in Area VII and even completed Novice at Rebecca Farm in 2011! He has shown under the name "Coming To Fruition" in USEA Horse Trials. Welkin continues to mature and improve every day with our training and requires a tactful rider. If he were to go to an amateur's home, he would likely need to be under the close tutelage of a savvy, sensitive trainer. I will entertain offers for him (price is negotiable) but will be very selective about making sure he goes to the right home! He has excellent ground manners, stands ground-tied, bathes, clips, hauls, ties and stands well for the farrier. He has conditioned and competed (with great endurance and energy to spare) with a stable grade 2 heart murmur. I'm a veterinarian who has kept him up-to-date on everything he has needed, including echos to be sure that his heart is stable and I have NO concerns about him having a healthy athletic career! 2004, 15.2hh, Chestnut with chrome, American Warmblood, Gelding. Wonderful childrens/juniors or Adult Amatuer all around star.Fielder is a gorgeous mover who is extremely successful and easy to ride dressage. Solid 3rd level with some 4th level movements. Fantastic and correct jumper with great form over fences and extremely honest. Fielder has schooled up to 5'3" and is competitive at the 4'3"-4'6" jumpers. Big stride and will do the hunters and medals with ease. Auto changes. Has all the flat work to win the medals. Would also make a great derby competitor. Has shown through Prelim eventing. Absolute doll on the ground with no vices. Child and husband safe to handle. Sound straight legs and feet and can go barefoot. No vices.
