President's Letter

Happy New Year Everyone!
Hope you all had a great holiday season and are staying warm and safe during these gloomy, icy winter days!Also that you are getting to ride in spite of the weather. We are gearing up for another year of shows and clinics and have some exciting things coming up this year-- a great series of League shows, our Recognized show at Brasada Ranch, a great Adult Camp, and lots of clinics hosted by our members. There will also be lots of opportunities for volunteering at these events. I am happy to report that we are already seeing a few new faces on the committees and hope to see lots more in the coming months! I would encourage you to attend our first business meeting which will be held in the next few weeks ( tentatively Jan 25th- check the Calendar for details).
We have a great membership here in Central Oregon, and I look forward to working with you to make this year memorable and FUN!!

As I sit down to write this, we have just finished our last League Show of the year and the Year End Banquet is just around the corner. I hope you have all reached the goals you set for yourselves at the beginning of the season-- and hope you have had lots of fun in the process.
I would like to thank all of our wonderful volunteers who have made this show season possible. While there were times that organizers were pulling their hair out at the last minute trying to get volunteer spots filled, club members came through in the end to help out! THANK YOU!!!
We have had a great year-- the League Shows, the Recognized Show. Adult Camps and various clinics held in the area were very successful and well attended. The winter "down time" is just around the corner. Enjoy it. Spend some quality time with your horse, family and friends.
Thanks for a great year and may all your rides be good rides....
