The 2010 League Show Documents are downloadable from the icons below! If you have any trouble with these, or if you have any questions, please contact Kristi.

There are SEVERAL important changes to the rules!! Please read the Premium carefully.
The biggest change is that we are allowing a 2 day priority entry period for COC Members. In order to qualify for this you MUST be a COC member and absolutely MUST include a copy of your 2010 ODS membership card as proof. This means you should be sure to join ODS, specify you want to be associated with the CO Chapter, and have your membership card in hand! Memberships take a while to process, especially close to the show season, so be sure to join before April 1st, 2010. This applies to the Rider of the horse- currently the Owner or Trainer do not have to be ODS or COC members.

If your ODS card is not included,  your entry will be included with the others as if it arrived on the second opening date. On this second date, all entries will be treated equally.
Another major change is that Introductory Level and Training Test 1 Maiden are ONLY going to be offered at the May show.

We plan to also have a Schooling show offering only Intro and Training Level, and perhaps First level. This is tentatively planned for July 18, 2010 at Stonepony. This will not be a League show by ODS standards, but will count toward  COC year end awards.

COC Sponsors New Donation Program at the Shows

Our Club will be sponsoring a food drive for NeighborImpact at all the horse shows and events we are holding this year. NeighborImpact is part of the Central Oregon Food Bank system and provides food for people in need in Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson Counties. In 2008, NeighborImpact distributed over 2800 food boxes per month and helped provide food for over 8,000 meals per month at emergency meal sites. With the number of people seeking aid growing each month, the demand is HUGE.

"Halt. Salute. Donate" is a new program for the Club this year. Members are asked to bring non-perishable food items to our horse shows and social events to donate to NeighborImpact. Special recognition will be given to members and barns who make significant donations. This is a great way to give back to our community and support our friends and neighbors who are struggling in these difficult times. As you are packing your horse trailer for the horse shows this year, please add food for "Halt. Salute. Donate" to your list of essentials We CAN make a difference!
